Decided to launch from the bandstand & sail at the town beach.Rigged 5.7m & 86lt Goya, there was a lot waves in the bay which looked good but there was a weird no wind zone for about the 1st 30 meters out, but after wobbling about & getting over loads of white water i finally made into the wind,& there was plenty too on the 5.7m.
The waves were over head high & fun but it was still very onshore even up this end.I had a few blasts down to overcombe & made alot of ground upwind(out to sea) where the swell/waves were big & playfull.
But a broken UJ, landing form a high jump cut the session short, luckily it was at weymouth end so my board washed in on its own & i had a swim/washed in., thanks to the kiter for totally ignoreing me whilst i was out there & trying to get his attention....
